When can I apply for a learner's permit in Oklahoma?
You can apply at age 15½ years old if you are taking or have taken some type of driver education program.

If you are 15½, you must have taken or be taking a driver education course. At age 16, the driver education requirement is waived. At both ages, applicants must also pass a written knowledge test and a vision test to receive their Learner’s Permit.
