Texas is an exceptionally diverse state. They say that “everything is bigger in Texas,” and you can certainly find some massive drives there, from the panhandle down to the Rio Grande. The massive territory is ideal for drivers, and the 624 miles of coastline make for some truly incredible drives. There is plenty for you to discover in this truly great state, whether you prefer the big city of Dallas, or the miles and miles of rural countryside. Any time of year, you’ll always find an exciting destination, and the warm weather every month of the year means you’ll never get snowed out of a drive.

If you want to drive in Texas and you do not have a license, you will have to get a Texas Learners Permit. You must be at least 15 years old to take the test. You must also be a Texas Resident or a resident of another State enrolled in a Texas Driver Education & Training.
