The desert state of New Mexico—the “Land of enchantment”—is truly enchanting in so many ways. The vast terrain is so unique, and the state is home to primitive and picturesque beauty from one end to the other. You’ll find hot springs and Indian ruins, dormant volcanoes and incredible culture wherever you go. New Mexico has a wonderful car culture, and once you’ve taken a long ride through the desert at sunset, you’ll know why. The breathtaking beauty of the desert at sunset is incomparable. And, if you’re lucky and you believe, you might just be able to take a drive through Roswell and see a flying saucer or two.

If you want to drive in New Mexico and you do not have a license, you will have to get a New Mexico Learners Permit. You must be at least 15 years old to take the test. You must also be a New Mexico Resident or a resident of another State enrolled in a New Mexico Driver Education & Training.
