Sportsman’s Paradise, as Louisiana is known, is an incredible state for motorists.  Many believe that the Gulf Coast is ruined because of the oil spill, but the fact is that many staggering scenic vistas are open and unaffected.  And, contrary to some opinions, there is much more to Louisiana than the Gulf Coast as well — mile after mile of gorgeous bayou roads, not to mention the twists and curves of the highways alongside the False River make Louisiana an excellent place to be a licensed driver.

If you want to drive in the state of Louisiana and you do not have a license, you will have to get a Louisiana Learners Permit. You must be at least 16 years old to take the test. You must also be a Louisiana Resident or a resident of another State enrolled in an Louisiana Driver Education & Training.
